Where we come from
Automata is Marc and Ralph Ghannam, two senior engineers from Boston who've spent 14 years shipping production software for founders.
Ralph was a founding engineer at TireTutor and helped grow it into a major player in the automotive space. Marc led engineering at a Series A blockchain and AI company, then ran a consulting practice advising teams on technical delivery and go-to-market. We learned to ship under real pressure, where slow means dead.

We've done this before
We've built pre-seed marketplaces and a lab for a Fortune 50 insurer. We've worked across fintech, AI, and high-scale platforms, and led engineering from a first prototype all the way to a $25 million Series A.
Along the way we've made the architecture calls that are expensive to undo, rescued products that stalled, and shipped under deadlines that didn't move. Most of the problems you'll bring us, we've already solved somewhere.
